Cocktails and aperitifs are served from a white alabaster counter inlayed with images of Bacchanalian figures and scenes in the wood panelled lobby bar, and drinks and snacks are accompanied by panoramic city views from the rooftop garden terrace. Decorated in true Italian Art deco Style, the restaurant serves traditional Italian cuisine and a selection of fine wines at lunch and dinner. The health conscious will appreciate access to the fitness centre at an affiliated hotel two blocks away and guests arriving by car can take advantage of secure pay parking in the immediate vicinity. Other amenities include room service, round the clock front desk service, currency exchange and concierge service. Many of Rome's major attractions are easily reached on foot. Within 300 metres visitors will find the Santa Maria Maggiore basilica, while the monumental Coliseum, the Forum and the Trevi Fountain are all about a kilometre away. Rome Fiumicino airport is 35 kilometres and about a 45 minute journey from the hotel. An express train service runs between the airport terminal and Termini station in central Rome (journey time 30 minutes, cost 10 EUR). The hotel is about a 450 metre walk from the station's main exit along Via Cavour. A taxi from the airport to the hotel costs around 50 EUR.
